The Performance Planning and Development Process
The Performance Planning & Development (PP&D) Program is a new performance feedback process at Wayne State University designed to help supervisors and employees identify and successfully meet performance expectations.
This program is a system that allows for:
- Definition of performance expectations
- Continuous feedback: Two-way
- Building effective work relationships
- More conversations regarding performance
- Employee and organizational alignment
Not everyone at the University is on the Performance Planning & Development Program. The following areas are currently using this process for Non-Rep employees:
- Business Operations
- Development & Alumni Affairs
- Governmental Affairs
- Human Resources
- Internal Audit
If you would like to be a part of the Performance Planning & Development Program, please contact your Human Resources Consultant for assistance with planning and facilitating the process. Prior to initiating this process, we recommend that employee and supervisors review all the information on PP&D program offered here on this Website.
Organization & Employee Development will offer training to assist managers and employees who wish to be a part of this program. If you plan to be a part of this program, please contact Elizabeth Rager at aa8224@wayne.edu to arrange training.
